Reportedly, all the collected money was going to Imagine LA, to provide support for all those homeless and poor families in a short period of 10 days. Kaepernick himself donated $10,000 every day, with other significant personalities joining hands for the noble cause.
Since the campaign kick-started, Serena Williams matched the contributions by giving her part of $10,000. Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Snoop Dogg, and actor Jesse Williams were the other four personalities to participate. Responding to Williams’ contributions, Kaepernick thanked the Grand Slam Champion through Twitter.

The ESPN documentary directed by Spike Lee will shed light on Kaepernick kneeling during the national anthem played before the NFL matches. Fans, admirers and critics will get an inside access to Kap’s archives. Never seen before stuff. And never heard before.
And Kap has got his hands full. He recently released a children’s book that has become a hit on social media. But on the pro-football front Colin Kaepernick has not gotten any closer to finding an NFL home. He will even play the back up role if required. Only if a team was willing to give him a chance. It still remains to be seen if he will ever take up the cleats again.
