He mentions, “It’s a scar, it’s a deep scar. It was a lot of sleepless nights. Every time I closed my eyes, I was re-watching the game in my head. Didn’t get a whole lot of sleep for weeks and weeks after the game. Was in a dark place, and took me a while and a lot of work to get out of it. It wasn’t something that went away easily, and it’s still a scar that I’ll carry with me throughout the rest of my life.”

Moreover, Tannehill credited therapy for helping him get out of his melancholy, stating that he’s seeing a therapist for a while. It was the first time he considered it necessary as he prepares for the upcoming season.

Will Titans call up a new QB if Ryan Tannehill doesn’t fit?

Tennessee supporters made Tannehill the target for the defeat, furious at the team’s failure to reach the Super Bowl for the very first time in 22 years.
