Aaron Rodgers and head coach Matt LaFleur are short of words this time after they suffered a heavy defeat against the Titans this Thursday. With this loss, the Packers have gone down 4-7, nearly diminishing their playoff aspirations. LaFleur seemed extremely disappointed with the result, especially when it happened at the home stadium in Lambeau field.
It was a close knock, and as one could expect, it happened to be a toe-to-toe match-up with Ryan Tannehill’s defense leaving no room for Rodgers to progress.

The unprecedented sack in the fourth quarter and several inaccurate throws fueled disappointment among the fans. While speaking to the reporters in the post-game press conference, head coach Matt LaFleur expressed his frustration and credited the opponents for their splendid gameplay.
“They whipped us in pretty much every phase,” LaFleur said. “We’re disappointed. Give them credit. We didn’t complement each other enough. It’s obviously extremely disappointing, especially coming off a few days ago. To come back and play like that is extremely disappointing,” he added before mentioning the team’s position with seven losses this season.
Fans believed that last week’s win over the Cowboys would change the course of the season for A-Rod. However, the result doesn’t seem to make any difference in their slump. In the first quarter, Rodgers connected for a touchdown to Christian Watson in the end zone but missed to add an extra point.

Later in the second quarter, the Packers had to settle for a field goal, and again a third-quarter TD pass to Watson was the only moment that helped Rodgers to add points to the scoreboard. The 27-17 loss is definitely going to stink in the final phases of the season when the teams would be battling for a playoff ticket.

A few days ago, Rodgers vowed to hold the guys responsible; however, he could have never imagined that things might turn against him as well. It was a rough day for the passer, who admitted the loss of grip in the final quarter.
Just like how LaFleur expressed his disappointment, Rodgers was short of words. He was grilled by the reporters on a snowy day. He was constantly booed by his own fans. It is never easy to handle, especially for a player like Rodgers, who always remained on the top.

“If we play up to our potential, we can win our last six games,” Rodgers said, being optimistic about the future. “I’m confident in that. Obviously, I’ve got to play up to my potential. Tonight wasn’t it.” he added. Anyways it is high time for the management and quarterback to introspect and sort out their disabilities.
