Teddy Bridgewater returns to his native city of Miami. After the Broncos signed former Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, their starting quarterback became a free agent. The Broncs had no problem letting him go. Just as the athlete was available on the market, the Phins wasted no time in acquiring his talents. Both sides have agreed upon a one-year deal.

It seems like the 29-year-old will be the Dolphins’ second quarterback. He will be the backup to Miami’s number one QB Tua Tagovailoa. Bridgewater is capable of starting games as well. If he plays his card right, we could see him start for the Dolphins soon.

“Yeah, that’s the nature of the business. You survive, man.” Bridgewater adds, I’ve been through the NFL offseason the past couple of years, and I understand things happen, decisions are made, and it’s business. But I’m still gonna survive, man. No matter where or how it happens, I’ve just got to have that mindset always.”

The 29-year-old started 14 games with Denver in which he got a 7-7 record. Despite missing the final two games due to concussion, Bridgewater scored 18 touchdowns with seven interceptions. He also threw for 3,052 yards and completed 66.9 percent of his passes.
