Tom Brady is a seven-time Super Bowl champion and arguably the greatest player in NFL history. But above everything else, he is a son to his father. Father’s Day is just around the corner and the NFL legend paid tribute to the superhero of his life through social media. His teared-up tribute from years ago for his father still raises the good, the bad and the ugly emotions for sons around the world ahead of the day to celebrate dad’s love in life.
Brady has always got huge support from his family for anything that he has done. His father has been a pillar in his life, talking about whom once made the star quarterback well up. The legend just couldn’t muster up the words to put his feelings into speech and ended up being emotional in front of the camera.

When Tom Brady shed some tears
Tom Brady spoke to the media before the 2017 Super Bowl. A reporter asked the then-New England Patriots quarterback about the hero of his life. And that was enough for the star to get emotional in front of the millions watching then.
“Who’s my hero? It’s a great question. Well, I think my dad is my hero because he is the one I look up to every day. And……my dad,” a visibly emotional Brady said at the time. He couldn’t complete what he set out to say because of the sheer emotion involved. Most of the kids just don’t have words to let the world know how great a father they have. So, this throwback video can bring out all sorts of emotions, the good feelings of love and belonging and even the ugly feelings of making them feel underappreciated.Brady won the Super Bowl that year and got to celebrate it with his father after surpassing his childhood hero Joe Montana in the number of Super Bowl rings. All these years later, his emotions for his father and family are at the fore again with a social media tribute.

Carrying the emotion
Tom Brady took to Instagram to pay yet another moving tribute to his father on his 79th birthday. He shared a photo of Tom Brady Sr on his Instagram story, with a short but sweet message for him. Calling him ‘the original’, Brady professed his love for the superhero of his life.
TB12 is a father of three himself. He knows that the father is the cornerback in the family, the best defensive weapon but most of the work goes unnoticed. This Father’s Day, he might want to tell his father what he means to him. And maybe then, all the shades of emotions get the happy ending that they deserve.

Brady is living a retired life now after 23 years in the field. He is also looking to buy a new house on the West Coast, closer to his family home in San Mateo. That will give him more time to spend with his superhero.
