In the latest episode of ‘New Heights’ with his brother Jason Kelce, Travis talked about his contract restructuring with the team, as well as the rumor of Odell Beckham Jr. joining the Chiefs.

Kelce duo talks over the Odell Beckham Jr. Move

In the latest episode, when Jason asked him about the ODJ link, Travis said, “Odell Beckham Jr.? I want them to come true. I have not heard anything in the locker room or anything around the facility.”
Thereafter, Jason asked him whether he was being coy with the news. Travis replied to that with, “Something’s in the air for sure, and if it means OBJ… Jason completes the sentence, “well, we can neither confirm nor deny.”
Odell Beckham is a prominent wide receiver who had been nursing injury since the last season and a free agent till now. Beckham Jr. had just won his first Super Bowl for the Rams last season. After the departure of Tyreek Hill, The Chiefs are struggling with runs and receptions as compared to the previous season. Field Yates of ESPN reported that the Kansas City Chiefs have restructured tight end Travis Kelce‘s deal. This move will see the Chiefs free up to $3.455 million in cap space. in exchange, Kelce will get extra through a signing bonus.
Jason Kelce asked Travis about the behind-the-scene reason for this move. Travis replied, “It’s a start to a move, right?.. You’re freeing up cap space to be able to do something… And it frees up cap space for us to get better as a team.”
