Bruce Arians-led Tampa Bay Buccaneers sealed a spot in the playoffs after last week’s 7-47 win over the Detroit Lions. But it was veteran quarterback Tom Brady who grabbed headlines for his standout display in Week 16. Brady went 22 of 27, throwing for 348 yards with four passing TDs against the Lions.
A week before that, Brady was at his destructive best again as the Bucs beat NFC South opponents, Atlanta Falcons. He threw for 390 yards and registered two passing TDs as the Buccaneers came from behind to stun the Falcons. If he continues on the same lines in Week 17, Brady is on his way to major bonus paycheck.

As per NFL insider Adam Schefter, the Buccaneers quarterback will receive an incentive-related bonus of $562,500 if he remains in the Top 5 NFL in passing yards this season. As mentioned above, Brady is currently fifth in the standings.
The 43-year old has already thrown for 4,264 yards with 36 passing TDs against 11 interceptions this season. He is behind Super Bowl LIV MVP Patrick Mahomes, Deshaun Watson and Josh Allen.
As per Pro Football, Falcons QB Matt Ryan is fourth in the list followed by Brady at number 5. The Buccaneers can seal the number 5 seed in the NFC with a win on Sunday. In doing so, we might see a potential all-star clash between the Buccaneers and the Dallas Cowboys. Of course, Mike McCarthy’s boys need to win their game against the New York Giants this weekend in order to win the NFC East crown.
