Tom Brady and the Buccaneers stumbled to a last second loss against the Los Angeles Rams at Raymond James Stadium, Tampa. Nevertheless, the play in the fourth quarter was the most memorable of this NFC Divisional Playoff. With less than a minute remaining, the Bucs, who had been trailing by a huge margin, tied the score. But in the end, it was the Rams who claimed victory in this nail-biting finish.

Tom Brady brought the Bucs back into the game after they were down 27-3. The lead was cut to 27-20, with about three minutes remaining. Thanks to Leonard Fournette’s 9-yard touchdown rush, the game was tied with 42 seconds still on the clock. Tampa crowds were on their feet, and the stadium was buzzing.

During the press conference, Brady said, “Well we made it after I hit Mike on the deep one that was a pretty good feeling and we…you know we’re right in at that point…The Leonard touchdown we were kind of figuring out what down it was first they said it was a first down and all of a sudden it wasn’t a first-down mid-snap so you know made the play.”

The final seconds of the game turned out to be pretty crazy. With 35 seconds remaining on the clock, Matthew Stafford made a 20-yard left pass to Cooper Kupp. He then lofted a 44-yard deep pass to Kupp again, who made an amazing grab. After that, Matt Gay’s 30-yard field goal was all that was needed to hand over a heartbreaking defeat to the Buccaneers.

After losing to the LA Rams, Brady said, “We got off to a slow start, which we certainly didn’t want to do against a good football team like that who plays well from ahead and they made us pretty one-dimensional. He further stated, ” You know it’s always tough losing at the end of the year. It’s you know, obviously, we showed a lot of fight, but at the end of the day you lose a game and you lose a game.”

This game had everything: back-and-forth scoring, a dramatic comeback, and a final play that no one saw coming. Indeed, this was one of the craziest finishes in the history of the NFL.
