It was a comeback Sunday for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, especially Tom Brady, who was fed up with taking a sad face every time he faced the reporters. This win was special because they just sought revenge for last season’s playoff loss. Despite a great victory, the Bucs’ Running Back, Leonard Fournette, seemed quite unhappy in the first half.

Ever since Fournette signed with the Bucs in 2020, the veteran happened to be the frontman for Tom Brady. His brute force and ability to rush down the field are surreal and thus make him a special player.

However, there was a moment in Sunday’s game during the late first half where Fournette was asked to stay back, and rookie backup Rachaad White got to lead a 10-play drive. Although the play ended with Raun Succop’s failed 52-yard field goal attempt, CBS Sports reported that Fournette seemed unhappy and frustrated on the sidelines.

The veteran finished nine carries for only 19 yards. But on the other side, White led the Bucs with 27 yards for eight carries. In a single drive, he contributed five carries and 18 yards, bettering Fournette by a big margin.

However, the Arizona product didn’t hesitate to appreciate the opportunity and consolidated the 27-year-old saying, “We need you.” His manners and etiquette helped the bond stay fresh without spoiling the atmosphere inside the locker room. Indeed, Fournette happens to be an experienced player with several 1000+ yard seasons. He played a pivotal role in the Bucs’ offense so far.
