Tampa Bay Buccaneers take on Philadelphia Eagles in a marquee week six fixture. The Eagles haven’t soared this season, and they look forward to kick-starting their campaign with an upset. However, the Super Bowl champions won’t have an easy match at all, with three star players ruled out.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers to miss three all-important players against the Eagles
Rob Gronkowski hasn’t played for the Bucs since their week three clash against Los Angeles Rams. He sat out during Tom Brady’s homecoming fixture against New England Patriots and missed the rout of Miami Dolphins this past weekend. Make it three games in a row for Gronk, as his ribs haven’t healed yet.

While the Bucs’ offence will miss Gronkowski, their defense will also suffer with linebacker Lavonte David and safety Antoine Winfield Jr. out of action. David suffered an ankle injury during the win against Miami Dolphins, while Winfield most likely picked up a knock during the Patriots game, a concussion being the reason for his absence.
As a result, the Bucs will head into the Eagles fixture at half strength, but they have players firing on all cylinders. The GOAT registered another GOAT performance against the Dolphins. Brady had the sword on the Dolphins’ neck, while Antonio Brown and Mike Evans showcased their offensive prowess.
But, missing two important defensive players could expose a lot of holes in Tampa Bay’s defense. Eagles’ Carson Wentz will look to exploit those gaps and score some all-important points for the Eagles. However, there is more bad news for the Bucs, which would leave Eagles fans in splits.

Tom Brady picked up a minor but worrying injury against the Dolphins. Photographers and reporters spotted Brady exit Raymond James Stadium with a bandage around his right thumb. Many suggested this could hamper his throwing ability against the Eagles, something they would relish sweetly.
An injury to Brady and Gronkowski means the Bucs are heading into battle with two of the best athletes in the world in jeopardy. While Brady claimed he won’t miss the Eagles fixture and would be fine once he’s on the field, one can’t help but assess the extra damage that might cause.

The Bucs are in a good position right now with a 4-1 winning record. The loss to the Rams was an unfortunate blip on their record, but they’ve seemingly wiped it out with two good performances. They were effective against the Patriots, rampant against the Dolphins, and if the same form continues, they could absolutely destroy the Eagles.
