Good news for Antonio Brown fans. According to the recent statement released by the wide receiver, he is not done with the NFL. On Sunday, January 2nd, The Tampa Bay Buccaneers played their first game of 2022. The reason we will remember this game for is the unceremonious walk out of Antonio Brown.
In the middle of the third quarter, Brown took off his jersey and walked off the field by throwing up a peace sign. This action showed that he was done with the Buccaneers. After a few days, Brown released a statement. In it, he talked about all the reasons that led up to the walkout. Many speculated that AB is done with football, but that is not the case.

Antonio Brown let everybody know what was going on with him behind the scenes. He claims he was forced to play with an injured ankle. Despite being in tremendous pain, Brown gave his all to the team. In return, he did not get any appreciation. The staff injected him with harmful painkillers which were ruled unsafe by the NFLPA.
The pressure became a lot for Brown during the game against the Jets. On the sidelines, the head coach fired him for not doing his job properly. In his defense, Antonio’s ankle was severely hurt, and he could not play.
Brown had an altercation with the HC. The coach yelled, “YOU’RE DONE!” This made the wide receiver take off his shirt and peace out. After the incident, many people blamed Brown, but few knew his side. The Bucs forced him to visit a doctor of their choosing, but Antonio didn’t trust them. He got an MRI done on Monday and has scheduled a surgery.

Brown wants to reveal what the organization is doing behind the scenes. He wants the people to know what he went through. The 33-year-old receiver wants the people to realize that it was not a senseless decision.

After the surgery is done and Brown is healed 100%, he wants to return to the NFL. To close out the statement, Brown said, “Once my surgery is complete, I’ll be back to 100%.” He adds, “Looking forward to the next season. Business gonna be BOOMIN!”
