Leonard Fournette has had a stellar season for Tampa Bay this season

Fournette, 26 years old, has always had a lot of talent. However, in his early days at Jacksonville, he appeared to be another gifted youth who squandered his potential because of behavioral concerns. Because of his actions back then, the RB was cut from the Jaguars’ roster. Before last season, the Bucs signed the free agent, and the rest is history.

With the Bucs, Leonard has had a fantastic start to his career. The former Jacksonville running back currently leads Tampa Bay in rushing yards with 413 (4.4 yards per carry). Moreover, he also has recorded four touchdowns in seven games. He’s also a danger in the passing game, catching 27 catches for 222 yards and a touchdown.

“Listen, Tom (Brady) is nice. It’s different playing with him too. You know playing against him is a different thing but when he’s on your team, you get to witness that like you be an eyewitness of greatness,” Fournette revealed to SI. “How he prepares, his mentality… you see why he’s got 7 rings. For the playoff run, Brady was up 5:30 in the morning texting us what we should expect. You understand, he’s been playing this game for 22 years,” he ended.
