Seahawks GM John Schneider had a say in the matter. According to a report from the league, the GM is “not worried”. Schneider said, “Obviously, Dave has a great relationship with Drew [Lock] and Geno. Shoot, he did a great job working with Geno (and) staying after practice with Drew.” He added, “Free agency doesn’t start until the middle of March so there’s a huge period here where we have time to work through things.” While the free agency hasn’t commenced yet, there’s no doubt the team has already given thought to the most advantageous possibilities.

Brady’s potential replacement has big decisions ahead of him

The NFL world didn’t think the Seattle Seahawks had it in them to go far this season. After the departure of Russell Wilson, someone who has been the face of the team for a while, many assumed that the team wouldn’t survive. But the resurrection of Geno Smith’s career stunned the league.
