Tom Brady-led Tampa Bay Buccaneers have started their title defense on a strong note in 2021. They’ve won 2 of their opening three games and look on track to make the playoffs yet again. The Bucs have made some strong moves in the offseason, holding on to core members from the Super Bowl-winning team from last season.
The latest addition for the reigning champions is that of veteran NFL cornerback, Richard Sherman. The former Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers player signed a one-year contract with the Bucs earlier this week.

Speaking to the media, the Buccaneers’ new number 5 claimed he needs at least a week of practice before challenging for a spot on the matchday roster.
“It’s anybody’s guess. I need at least a week of practice to really hone things in, to play at the level that I’m capable of. I think it’d be foolish to expect me to come out this week and play at a super high level,” Sherman said at the press conference.
