Although it was a 41-31 loss for Tom Brady and Co against the Patrick Mahomes-led side, Mike Evans stole the show. It more or less felt like he was venting his aggression for not being able to play the last game.
Well, Evans made up for the loss by catching impossible passes from his quarterback at the edges of the end-zone. While Mahomes started his rally in the first 46 seconds of the game, Brady took some time to catch the heat of the moment.
And his second touchdown connection of the first half came by the hands of Evans. He was waiting at the corners of the end-zone to receive the ball. Twitter world was in shock witnessing the moment.
The NBA legend was eagerly watching the thriller and instantly reacted to the play. King James was heaping praises for the WR. He took it to Twitter and wrote:
My DOG Mike Evans!! 👏🏾👏🏾

Before the fans could even assimilate the impulse created by Evans, another touchdown came in the same quarter. He effortlessly caught the long bullet launched by Brady straight to the zone. Meanwhile, he penetrated the defense like it meant nothing to him.
LeBron James followed another tweet in this context, watching the receiver update the score in a fraction of a second. “MIKE EVANS!!!! Bro stops it!!” James wrote for the second touchdown.
Well, the Lakers star did not mention the team he was supporting but instead praised the players on both sides. With this spectacular gameplay, Evans became the only player to catch multiple touchdowns in the same quarter. This was his eighth one.
Mike Evans amazes the fans with crazy reactions flooding across the NFL world
After getting involved in an argument with the Saints in Week 2, the league suspended Evans for one game. His performance against the Chiefs compensated for that absence. His gameplay reminded the fans of those moments Brady had with his former Tight End Rob Gronkowski when. But now this play has assured the fans of the veteran getting a pass for the Hall of Fame in the future.
One of the users credited Brady for the WR’s success.
Mike Evans- 1st ballot hall of famer.
If not for Brady bringing attention to the Bucs, Evans would’ve gone the majority of his career under appreciated.

However, this user mentioned that Evans was the underdog.
Evans is a very, very good player. But Acho, I’ll wager literally *any* amount of money that he won’t be a 1st Ballot guy, and given the PFHOF history & his résumé, he’s a pretty significant underdog to ever get in. https://t.co/SQNlWsDo0U

While this user was counting the achievements of the wideout.
I’d be stunned if Mike Evans didn’t get into the Hall of Fame.
The most consistently productive receiver of his era + got a ring + almost single-handedly got Johnny Manziel drafted in the first round.
All three of those are amazing feats! https://t.co/ye9uu3bRSg

This insider presented some statistics.
Mike Evans has 30 TDs in 35 regular season games with Tom Brady.
— Ari Meirov (@MySportsUpdate) October 3, 2022
Indeed, he is the best!
He'll get 100 TDs, 14K receiving yards, at least 6 pro bowls, he'll get in….not a significant underdog at all.
— Gosu (@gosu984) October 3, 2022
Anyway, this guy is on the path to the Hall of Fame.
Dudes never not had a 1000 yard season. Boat loads of TDs. Maybe not a first ballot pick but absolutely getting in. Especially with 2-4 more years of production

While this user was pretty much confident about the WR’s career and his achievements.
Hes 100% a hall of famer look at his stats

Well, this user called Evans the trump card of the Buccaneers.
He’s 1st ballot. He’s not just Mr. Consistency. The consistency that he’s bringing has only been matched by a handful of WRs. 8 straight 1k+ seasons w/ 75 TDs across, and he did more than half of that with Jameis, Fitzy, Mike Glennon, etc. The ring just solidifies it.
