An investment in knowledge pays the best interest in life. Maybe this is what the Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Robbie Anderson (now known as Chosen Anderson) must have felt. After a not-so-impressive season to showcase the 29-year-old Anderson must have felt that there are other things in life that he must focus on as a priority.

As teams prepare for the upcoming new season of the NFL, Anderson decides to pursue his interest in higher studies, as he applies to the University of Miami for his master’s. But what impression does this leave on the minds of the fans in the NFL world?

In a tweet put up by the Arizona Cardinals’ official Twitter, we see Anderson posing in front of the University of Miami. He has enrolled to pursue his education for the upcoming summer. This decision of his has left fans of the team discussing and making light of the outcomes that are to follow. Even while playing for the Cardinals, Anderson did not make a huge impact on the game and the season. WR’s decision led to some of these fan reactions.

While many fans believed this would be a welcoming move for the team to strengthen their arsenal, some fans came out to support his decision to pursue education.

All in all, it seems like Anderson will be chilling in his new university, while the Arizona Cardinals draft up a new game plan for themselves, in order to have a better season that is coming by.

A new destination, a new beginning?

The Carolina Panthers traded Anderson to the Cardinals around the midway point of the last season. This trade took place after an altercation between Anderson and the Panther’s head coach. However, to be fair, the trade did not benefit the team as they thought it would. Anderson had a disappointing season having only one game with over 20 receiving yards. The year ended with him averaging 7.6 yards per game, and no touchdowns to be remembered.

Maybe this newfound path for Anderson will prove to me worth more than the time spent with the Cardinals. They say education is the passport for the future. So maybe Chosen has really made the right choice for himself. As for the Arizona Cardinals, new doors may soon be opening up for them as well.
