As the season is on the horizon, the Chiefs are going all out with their practice sessions. Patrick Mahomes has been putting in his work at his new mansion in Cass County, Missouri. After all his mysterious home has got everything for the reigning champion with a yard that measures half a football field, with Mahomes’ own personal logo printed on the turf, bringing him the field to the home.
The QB invites his teammates to come over and sweat it out on his personal field. Patrick’s father Pat Mahomes. Sr is one of the few, who gets to witness the Super Bowl winners’ prep session and was even impressed by two young NFL stars caught in the midst of intense drills.

Pat. Sr was blown away by the wide receivers Justyn Rose and rookie Rashee Rice and was high praise for both of them. The 52-year-old sees great potential in the young stars.

“Patrick has a little 50-yard field on the property and it is amazing and beautiful but he has been having the guys out there. And they’re running routes and stuff and these guys are looking very very impressive. I’m just gonna give you a name to look out for, Justyn Ross they’ve been putting in work coming back from the injury before the season started with him, and the boy…they just drafted Rashee Rice.. they’re all looking good”, Mahomes sr. said.
The upcoming season sure proves to be crucial for the wideouts as the anticipation surrounding them in the off-season is sky-high.

All eyes on the young stars
Justyn Rose has generated a lot of hype as he is gearing up for a comeback. He signed with the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent on May 7, 2022. On July 25, 2022, Ross was placed on injured reserve, owing to an off-season foot surgery that caused him to miss the entire season. The recent footage of him engaged in intense and dedicated workouts show that he leaves no stone unturned in his efforts.
Rashee Rice was drafted out of SMU as the Chiefs’ traded him up for the 55th pick. Rice has amassed a record of 96 receptions and 1,355 receiving yards during the 2022 season at SMU. He ranked fifth in the nation in catches and third in receiving yards while also catching 10 touchdowns. At minicamps, he had impressed with his fluid movements.

“You can see the strength in his route running and his ability to work in space,” The Chiefs’ head coach Andy Reid said of Rice. “He’s got good hands.” The young stars are going all out as reflected by Sr Mahomes’ praise. And they are trying nothing short of proving to be crucial weapons in the Chiefs’ arsenal.
