Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers are currently on a four-game losing streak. The Packers lost to the Buffalo Bills in a disappointing 17-27 showdown. This loss brings the team to 3-5 currently.

The Bills are currently second in the NFC North, trailing the Minnesota Vikings who stand at a lofty 6-1. While it looked like the Packers could potentially be at par with the Bills, keeping up with their offense proved to be an uphill battle.

Aaron Rodgers calls Josh Allen an MVP

For an experienced quarterback who is still active in the league, Rodgers proclaimed Bills quarterback Josh Allen pretty early in the season. In a post-game interaction with the press, A-Rod spoke of his impression of the team. He said, “They got an MVP quarterback, they’ve got a good defense, they’re well-coached, a lot of weapons, [they] tackle well deep.”

Aaron Rodgers’ performance looks nowhere close to his former self. Recently, the quarterback spoke of his teammates on the Pat McAfee show. Publicly criticizing his teammates, he stated that those who weren’t performing well shouldn’t be playing.

With one of the strongest offenses in the league right now, the Packers could do nothing against them. Taking a 14-point lead that translated to a 17-point lead in the first half, the men in green were trailing the Bills from the start. While they were moving the ball, it did not come nearly as fast enough to keep up with Buffalo.

While the Packers showed some strength on the field, it was not enough. Their defense, for one, let the Bills score five consecutive possessions.

Where do the Packers stand?

Aaron Rodgers and Co. may be in a bit of hot water. While no other team in the NFC North apart from the Vikings seem to be having a good season, the Packers may be in danger of missing the playoffs if they extend their losing streak.

The Packers are set to face the Detroit Lions in their next game. The Lions, who currently have it worse than the Packers, are at 1-6 behind the Chicago Bears. After losing 27-31 to the Miami Dolphins in their last game, they will be gearing up for their against Green Bay.
