Shedeur Sanders, QB for the Colorado Buffaloes, has Tom Brady watching over him. The 21-year-old has been performing brilliantly in the past 3 games that the Buffaloes have played. Sanders has been playing really well as one of the best QBs in the NCAA division and is mentored by none other than the NFL legend himself, Tom Brady. In the game against the CSU Rams this past Sunday, Sanders was heard saying he went full “Brady mode” prior to bagging the win for his team during the double overtime.

The match itself came with a lot of tension as previously, the head coach of CSU had taken digs at the head coach of the Buffaloes, Deion Sanders himself. Norvelle said, “When I talk to grown-ups, I take my hat off and my glasses off. That’s what my mother taught me.” This statement didn’t sit right with Shedeur and was caught saying in a pre-match interview that he’ll be playing with a lot more personal intent in the game now. While he walked out a hero off the field, Brady still had words for the young star.

In the latest episode of the ‘Let’s Go!’ podcast with Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald, and Jim Gray, Brady talks about Shedeur and how his performance is soaring to new levels now. Brady says that Shedeur is an extremely talented player who will continue to grow if he chooses to surround himself with the right set of people. His performance solely depends on the sort of coaches that mentor him because he needs to be trained in the best of ways by the best people.

Brady says, “The sky’s the limit when you have the opportunity to learn. If you’re hard-headed, if you think you know everything, then that’s the problem.” These statements only indicate that Sanders will have to have an open mind and learn from his mentors as much as possible. Because this is the only way to aspire to reach the same level of success that Brady once conquered. Shedeur is also grateful for the fact that Brady is watching out for him even while he is miles away from the game. The question is – Will he ever come back to his roots?

While his official answer has always been no, fans are insistent that Brady comes back to the NFL. It seems as though the sport has been incomplete without him. When Aaron Rodgers got injured in his debut match with the Jets, there were an awful lot of rumors going around that the New York Jets might call on Brady to fill his shoes. Though the fans consistently bug Brady to come back, it seems that he has his hands full with other ventures in his life right now.
