Hurts’ new look has gone immensely popular on Twitter. Even though it’s not his trademarked blonde dreads, it has a unique and fresh look prior to their 2022 campaign.

Jalen Hurts’ dreadlocks were the Alabama QB’s signature peek for 2 years. They protruded over behind his dark red headgear as he brushed aside defensive players. Hurts had worn the updo for as long as Crimson Tide enthusiasts could remember. However, he was forced to cut his hair because of a CFP bet.

According to the bet, if Alabama won the national championship, he would cut off the dreadlocks. As a result, Jalen went 25-2 as the Crimson Tide’s beginner before being replaced at halftime by Tua Tagovailoa. Josh Jacobs, Jalen’s teammate, detailed the hairstyle workflow on Twitter. However, the gunslinger deserves most of the credit. He kept his end of the deal.
