Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes is spending his time in the offseason close to his family. The QB is at home with his children and wife Brittany, taking on the role of a wonderful father and husband. For now, his helmet is off and his chef hat is on for a special occasion. He is taking time off the field to celebrate with his family and shower them with all the attention. The happy family celebrations, however, come off the back of hard times for the Mahomes family.
Younger brother Jackson Mahomes is out on a $100,000 bail by the Johnson County Detention Center in Kansas for the alleged assault case in a restaurant in Oakland on February 25. The family also lost their dear grandma Debbie a few weeks back. It’s definitely been a rough couple of months for the Mahomes household but it’s good to see them cope well with all the ongoings and still make time for each other.

For Mother’s Day, Brittany Mahomes made a special request to her NFL husband. She asked the 2X Super Bowl champ to cook her a scrumptious Mother’s Day meal while taking over the kitchen for the day. The QB abided with Brittany’s wish and put on his chef hat to take over the kitchen for a special Mother’s Day celebration.
In a recent Instagram story shared by Brittany, we see Patrick Mahomes in the kitchen while holding baby Sterling with one hand. He is near the gas stove cooking what looks like a delicious meal, while Brittany is busy recording the father-daughter duo in action. The Chief’s QB even reposted the story of his wife. It is a heartwarming example of the type of love and bonding the Mahomes family share with each other.

Jackson Mahomes makes an audacious request regarding his bond
The younger brother of the Chief QB was involved in an incident from February when he allegedly assaulted a 19-year-old server and also reportedly kissed the 40-year-old owner Aspen Vaughn of the Aspens Restaurant in Overland Park. She even provided the authorities with a clip of the incident recorded by the restaurant’s CCTV as evidence. Based on everything, Johnson County booked Jackson Mahomes on three counts of aggravated battery and one additional charge of misdemeanor. Now, the young Mahomes has requested a county judge to allow him permission to meet four eyewitnesses to the case that he knows personally. He is looking to contact these four people under the condition that he does not discuss the case with any of them.
While the Mahomes family does not seem too bothered by the controversial life of Jackson Mahomes, it will be interesting to see how the court decides to proceed with the case at hand.
