Sean Payton hints at a comeback with Lamar Jackson
Sean Payton appeared on the ManningCast for the Baltimore Ravens game against his old team, the Saints. During the game, Peyton Manning asked him about Lamar Jackson. “What stands out for you about Lamar Jackson?” The former Saints HC had a cheeky reply ready. “Well, the number one thing is, I have a chance to be a free agent. He has a chance to be a free agent. I would say that first,” Payton said, hinting at a return to the NFL and teaming up with Jackson.
Fans would love to see the duo teaming up and terrorizing the League. But then what about John Harbaugh? Harbaugh has developed Jackson’s game so much and Payton acknowledged that further while talking about the QB.“I think he has become a better down the field thrower, partly because the game he now playing is a little different than what he was playing in college,” Payton said.
The Ravens are negotiating a contract with Jackson behind the scenes. If all goes well for them, Harbaugh will get to keep his prized asset. The only way Jackson will be traded is if the contract negotiations break down. Will the fans see Jackson becoming the new Drew Brees for Sean Payton?
The NFL world reacts

But this fan doesn’t think it will happen.
No way are the Ravens trading Lamar into a market separated by 45 mins drive. Dumbest biz decision ever if so.
