A fresh beginning for Brooks?

Brooks is a humble and hard-working individual who learned these virtues from his parents. His father studied till high school, while his mother Dorothy Brooks, completed her MBA while Brooks was still in high school. She ensured Brooks graduated from Miami (Ohio) before leaving for the NFL. Later on, Brooks thought about Medical and Law schools too, but the time required deterred him from the path. Plus, he loved numbers and managing finances, hence an MBA. He interned at Amegy Bank in 2014 and as a financial analyst at Morgan Stanley in 2015.

Brooks struggled with his problems with depression and anxiety. Although he has managed to overcome his demons, he has often stated how playing football required him to give his best, right from Day 1. His injuries in the 2018 and 2020 seasons did not help much. He became a free agent after his release from Houston Texans in 2016. It made him think about his future and a backup plan. Finally, in 2022, after his stint with the Eagles, he decided to hang his cleats and venture into his new field of interest i.e., Business and Finance. Brooks is showing the best of his champion mentality to the world. He lived the life of a champion with Texans and Eagles. At Wharton, he is living another life. A life that many could dream of, but only a few could live.
