The 2021 Los Angeles Rams team and their fans will enter with an honor they long craved, the tag of being Super Bowl champions. With the release of their fixture list for 2022, the Rams are galvanized to show they weren’t a one-hit-wonder. The 2022 NFL season began for them at the end of their victory parade, and WR Cooper Kupp stated their intentions to repeat as NFL champions in consecutive seasons.

The next campaign will bring an additional home game for the Rams. It follows after the Rams had to play an additional road game last season. They will be determined to make the SoFi Stadium their fortress and enjoy every bit of that advantage. It is part of the NFL’s 17-game season they agreed as part of the collective bargaining agreement of 2021.

The 17-game format will be in effect till at least the 2030 season. It will be something of a norm for the foreseeable future of the league. The Rams will be playing some top opposition at home but have a considerably easier run of home games later.

The Rams played some of their best football during the recently concluded season. But any prediction can’t be made about their success with a lot of changes expected during free agency.

They will be hosting the AFC East champions Buffalo Bills, the NFC East champion Dallas Cowboys as the headline home fixtures. Additionally, they will be playing the Carolina Panthers, the Atlanta Falcons from the NFC South. They will also take on the Las Vegas Raiders and Denver Broncos from the AFC West.

But the road games will be where their eventual seeding will get determined with some tough fixtures at challenging venues. They will be facing the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field, Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium, and the Kansas City Chiefs at the Arrowhead Stadium. Apart from this, they will face the Los Angeles Chargers and the New Orleans Saints, two tough games.

Apart from this, they will also be facing divisional rival teams like the Seattle Seahawks, San Francisco 49ers, and the Arizona Cardinals both at home and on the road. The road ahead won’t be helped by the NFL offseason, which will challenge them to retain all the pieces. If they overcome that, then only their own mistakes can stop an extraordinary team full of talent and potential.
