The impact of sustained hard hits accumulates in the body and often leads to players being injured or going through their correctional procedures. The latter is what the Rams CB also found out after a season of sustained high impact on his body.

Is Jalen Ramsey seriously injured?

The Rams CB recently tweeted a picture of himself with his children. Fans were concerned to see the athlete’s arm looked to be in a sling, despite there being no obvious injury at the end of the season or any news of injury recently. Alongside the photo, he wrote, “ALL IS WELL! God is GREAT! Selfies are my hijas favorite.”

Ian Rapoport of the NFL Insider Network reported the news of Ramsey’s surgery. Apparently, the surgery was only a “precautionary and minor” offseason maintenance surgery. According to reports, everyone expects the CB to be in full fitness by the time the regular season rolls around

The Super Bowl champion apparently played through the entirety of last season with injuries on both shoulders. Appearing on the Pivot Podcast in March, Ramsey had said he had played “half the year, probably 10 games, with two AC joints sprained.” The revelation speaks volumes about the mental fortitude of the defensive player, who coped with the physical nature of the sport with two injured shoulders.
