After a slow start to their season, Ron Rivera’s Washington Football Team have found their feet in the league in recent weeks. They are sitting at the summit of the NFC East Division and are unbeaten in their last four league outings. However, they face a tough challenge in the form of the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.
Veteran NFL quarterback Alex Smith has started for Washington in recent weeks. However, he is set for a spell on the sidelines with a calf issue. Second-year quarterback Dwayne Haskins is expected to start in his stead. But
it is the Washington defense that has been their point of strength over the last four odd weeks. Rookie Chase Young has impressed and will once again be a key figure against a strong Seattle attack led by 32-year Russell Wilson.

Pete Carroll’s Seattle Seahawks started the season with vigour and style. However, they’ve faltered in recent weeks and find themselves at the second spot on the NFC West Division table. Veteran quarterback Russell Wilson will be the pivotal figure against Washington on Sunday. But he will need support from offensive superstars, Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf.
The Seattle defense featuring Jamal Adams, Shaquem Griffin and Bobby Wagner will need to be alert in order to restrict Haskins from wreaking havoc in the American capital.

Despite their poor run of results in recent weeks, the Seahawks should wrap up this tie with a bow on top on Sunday. Coach Carroll knows how to chalk out wins and that is exactly what they need if they still want to win the NFC West.
