Matt LaFleur and Aaron Rodgers have turned the Green Bay Packers into one of the most formidable teams in the NFC. They are sitting at the top of the NFC North Division table with an 8-3 record and are in line to make the Playoffs in 2020.
Meanwhile, the Doug Pederson-led Philadelphia Eagles find themselves in murky waters heading into this weekend. They are still in contention to challenge for the NFC East title, but need a better performance by franchise quarterback Carson Wentz.
Here’s a detailed look at both teams, along with injury updates and Week 13 Game Day predictions.

After 12 weeks, Aaron Rodgers remains in the running for the NFL MVP award along with Patrick Mahomes and Russell Wilson. The veteran QB has already thrown for 3,100+ yards with 33 TDs in 2020.
He threw for more than 200+ yards and scored 4 passing touchdowns in last week’s win over NFC North rivals, Chicago Bears.
The now 37-year-old will be expected to chip in with a similar display on Sunday against a struggling Eagles outfit. WR Davante Adams and TE Robert Tonyan will be Rodgers’ main targets on the field. Coach LaFleur is sweating on the fitness of star Packers RB Tyler Ervin and LB Za’Darius Smith.

Surely, coach Pederson will be losing his patience regarding the sub-par displays from franchise quarterback Carson Wentz. The 27-year-old has already thrown 15 interceptions in 11 games this season. The Eagles are 3rd in the NFC East table, with just 3 wins so far.
They need a win to push for a playoff spot. Safety Darius Slay will look to improve from last week’s display against the Seahawks. He was totally dominated by WR DK Metcalf and admitted it was the ‘worst game of his career’. A positive display against a strong Packers team might help boost his morale.

Green Bay Packers 33 – 23 Philadelphia Eagles
This one’s a no-brainer. The Eagles have been completely out of sync in 2020. A major reason for that is the ‘forgettable’ displays from star quarterback Carson Wentz.

On the flip side, Aaron Rodgers has truly turned back the clock with some timeless displays over the first half of the season. A win on Sunday at Lambeau Field will certainly propel him to the forefront of the NFL MVP race.
