After the Super Bowl in February this year, Subway launched a special online ‘vault’ menu that listed a variety of sandwiches featuring celebrities from the NFL and NBA fraternities.
The Broncos quarterback also secured a spot in the elite list, and his sandwich was called ‘Dangerwich‘. Although it didn’t attract much traction initially, Subway decided to shoot a commercial with Wilson showcasing the Dangerwich in different styles.

It was not well received by fans. Fans started trolling him for his awkward acting skills. Especially the moment at which the commercial was launched seemed pretty wrong.
The customized Dangerwich comes with “pepperoni, salami, black forest ham, provolone cheese and bacon on Italian Herbs and Cheese bread, topped with lettuce, green peppers, tomatoes, banana peppers, and finished with yellow mustard and mayo.” But this item is no longer available in the vault menu.
One of the main reasons behind the move is cited as the trolling from fans. And perhaps the outlet decided to discontinue offering this sandwich to the customers. Well, this is not the only setback for Wilson. The passer had been struggling with the early jitters that dropped the team 2-4 in the season record.
Russell Wilson claimed not to get stressed by these criticisms
This is one of the hard testing times for Wilson, who hasn’t fared well since getting involved with a new franchise. When reporters asked about his reaction to the criticisms, Wilson affirmed that he was used to it. He added that he should refrain from letting his guard down and instead try to get back where he belongs.

“Lot of seasons left,” Wilson said. ” … I’ve done it before, and I’ll do it again. … I don’t think you get motivated by [criticism]. … I can handle it, I’m built for it. I’m built for the good times, and the tough times. … It’s never supposed to be easy,” he added.
