The free agency in the NFL is in full swing. There have been many deals already made by teams for players to bolster their rosters before the new season commences. While many have been able to figure out their contracts with the players, there is one exception that has been the talk of the NFL world for a while now. Baltimore Ravens and their QB Lamar Jackson are still yet to figure out how the future looks for them. With the Ravens recently non-exclusive franchise tagging Jackson, it seems like maybe the team is ready to move on from the 2019 MVP. The QB recently turned down a $133 million fully guaranteed contract by the Ravens. And with no other team showing much interest in the pursuit of Jackson, it may be difficult to draw a conclusion about his future in the NFL.
Amidst the contract drama surrounding the player, Jackson recently responded to another heated rumor circulating in the NFL world about his contract stalemate.
The Ken Francis agent rumors

Recently, another rumor picked up pace in the whole Lamar Jackson contract saga. A person by the name of Ken Francis was reportedly trying to contact teams to negotiate a nine-figure deal for the quarterback in the NFL.
But according to the NFL Management Council, this particular individual is not a certified NFLPA agent. And the Council will nullify any uncertified negotiation by the teams with Ken Francis as a breach of the code of conduct. They also circulated a memo regarding the same warning teams not to enter negotiations with such an individual.
Ken Francis is a Florida man who most recently was pitching a home fitness invention, I’m told. He now is trying to negotiate a nine-figure contract with NFL teams, who are being told they’re not allowed to negotiate with him because he’s not a certified agent. https://t.co/39nlbWPXuD

We may also note that Lamar Jackson does not have an agent who represents him in the NFL. The QB has always been agentless, and his mother has always worked like his manager when it comes to negotiations and striking deals.
Lamar Jackson and his fans react to the memo shared
The 2019 MVP took to social media to share his thoughts about this new rumor that is spreading in the NFL. He said in his tweet to ‘stop lying’ about the complete fiasco as he does not have any official agent from the NFLPA for himself.
Stop Lying that man never tried to negotiate for me 🤣🤣 https://t.co/DIMXtxOAnR

Fans also shared their opinions about the memo that is being circulated regarding Ken Francis and his involvement in the Jackson contract saga.
Well the teams are saying he did, which is why the memo was sent out… sooooo 🤷🏻♂️

Hey Lamar
Perhaps stop negotiating your contract ….. ON TWITTER

Maybe just hire an actual sports agent so you dont have to defend yourself daily & question everyone who is trying to figure out what is going on inside your head.
The money you think you're saving not having 1 is not nearly as much as you're costing yourself with this contract.

When you fail to control your narrative, you have left others to do it for you. Perception is reality 7/10 times. You are failing to be your own agent, because a agent would’ve had a PR firm in charge of bad press. You sir are allowing your name, to be made a fool of. COME ON
