Stephen Curry on the Carolina Panthers
Stephen Curry has followed the Panthers since childhood. And for him, the franchise is still a passion. In a recent interview, he talked about this passion and the rebuild that the Panthers are undergoing. He pointed out the difficult process of rebuilding a franchise. But he knows that the front office will figure it out “The Panthers are still a passion and still my favorite team. They’re going to figure it out. Rebuilding is always difficult. Trying to figure out for Mr. Tepper (Dave Tepper, the Panthers owner), how he wants to run the team and making the right decisions at coach and quarterback,” Curry said.
The NBA star has high hopes for the franchise. And he is prepared to wait. A true fan always will.“But hopefully, the future’s bright, and I’m going to “Keep Pounding” all the way through it,” the Golden State Warriors guard said. Curry’s Warriors have also found themselves 11th in the Western Conference of the NBA. They have won just eight out of their 18 matches so far. Can Curry guide them back to the top?

The Panthers rebuild
Carolina traded running back Christian McCaffrey to the San Francisco 49ers. Losing such an asset and rebuilding is always a difficult process. And that is showing in the Panthers’ performances this season. The Panthers have won just three games this season out of the 11 they have played so far. And their problems at the QB position continue.

Their starting QB Baker Mayfield sustained an ankle injury in week five. QB2 Sam Darnold has also grappled with an ankle injury. In their absence, the Panthers have used Philip Walker under the center. Mayfield came back from injury and played two games, but that didn’t work out. Now the Panthers will use Darnold against the Denver Broncos in week 12.
