Maybe it’s time to schedule a joint group therapy session for Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady. Despite having Super Bowl aspirations ahead of this season, both the legends failed miserably in keeping up with the fan expectations. Of late, Aaron Rodgers, like the other legend, was toothless in his pursuits. He was unable to even match his own standards. And after the Packer’s recent 23-21 defeat to the Commanders in Week 7, the fans erupted with criticism.

The CheeseHeads even went further mocking the team’s up-and-down performance. While expressing his reaction to fans’ rage, Rodger acted as if it doesn’t create any difference in his mindset. During an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, the star quarterback went further claiming that this is a free country and the fans have the liberty to go on with their honest feedback. Though this may not stop the fans from speculating if it’s time for the Packers to get rid of the fading star.

Aaron Rodgers and his recent ties with predictability

Aaron Rodgers and his brigade started off the NFL season on a higher note. Standing 3-1 after the first four matches, the Green Bay Packers went on to lose their next three matches. Falling to 3-4 with their latest loss, the schedule only gets tougher. To still remain in contention, the Packers must win this Monday, when they face the Buffalo Bills in Week 8. Though Rodgers is playing the worst football of his career and the Packers don’t seem likely to have high hopes any time sooner.

After a very long time, Rodgers is playing without his trusted comrade, WR Davante Adams. It is crystal evident that A-Rod without Adams replicates Tom Brady without Gronk. On the field, Rodgers has been incredibly predictable and lacked chemistry with his young receivers. The four-time NFL MVP is no longer sufficient to win it by himself as he once did. The Packers must therefore begin investigating the receiver market before the transfer window closes.

While reacting to their horrible loss to the New York Jets, the Packers head coach Matt LaFleur multiplied the concerns of the fans. He asserted that he didn’t know why their offensive strategy, unchanged since last season, isn’t effective any longer. The Packers definitely need to sort out this unaddressed problem before the next match. Else the 38-year-old QB might want to start looking ahead to plans after NFL football sooner rather than later.
