Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys are having a run for the Super Bowl this year. With a dynamic offense and defense finally clicking for Dallas, their billionaire owner is quite happy these days. However, much to his disappointment, Jones was once again involved in a controversial episode of racial injustice. LeBron James went on the offensive against Jones and Stephen A. loves it.
Last Week, Washington Post released a story from 1957 about North Little Rock High School in Arkansas. The news article showed a picture of a group of young white men blocking the entrance of the school for six black students. And Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was right there in the middle of the crowd, with his 15-year-old head peeking out with curiosity.

The owner, president and GM shrugged the controversial allegations away, claiming teenage curiosity as the only reason for being present there. However, many didn’t buy that narrative. Especially, Los Angeles Lakers’ small forward and NBA legend, LeBron James.
LBJ went after the media for their hypocrisy. For not having the same intensity in their questioning of Jerry Jones and his former teammate, Kyrie Irving. And sports analyst and broadcaster, Stephen A. Smith, gave his unequivocal support to LeBron.
Stephen A cited more than one reason to speak up against Jerry Jones
“I was wondering why I haven’t got a question from you guys about the Jerry Jones photo,” LBJ said in a press conference yesterday. The 4x NBA Champion questioned the disparity in the media’s treatment of Kyrie Irving and Jerry Jones.
LeBron discussed the different kinds of attention black athletes get on the smallest negative news. And how the same didn’t apply to Dallas Cowboys owner Jones. Jerry spoke about the picture and claimed innocence.
Stephen A. Smith stood up for LBJ. “I can’t applaud LeBron enough for what he said,” Smith said. Jerry Jones hasn’t quite been the beacon of social justice in the past, according to Stephen A. He hasn’t ever hired a non-white coach for the Dallas Cowboys. Jones also stayed mum during the entire Colin Kaepernick controversy. And Stephen A. didn’t forget to bring that up.

Fans said that the media outlets didn’t ask LeBron about Jones because it wasn’t relevant to him. However, Stephen A had the answer to that.
“LeBron James has been subjected to question after question after question. But suddenly when it came to Jerry Jones you didn’t ask,” Smith said. “They asked LeBron about the presidential campaign. When Donald Trump was running against Hillary Robin Clinton.”
