Remember when Patrick Mahomes was in the middle of his post-game victory interview in the Arrowhead against the Cincinnati Bengals and Travis Kelce interrupted him with some chaotic words? Let’s just say, TK87 has a thing for the microphone. In his off time, the tight end does just that when he hosts the New Heights podcast with his elder brother Jason Kelce. Well, it looks as though the Kansas City Chiefs superstar will go to any length for his desired stage time. Even if that means doing something unfathomable to the Head of the Nation.
During the Chiefs’ visit this week to the White House, Travis Kelce and his QB1 Patrick Mahomes were part of one of the most epic on-camera bloopers of all time. Mahomes intercepted his tight end at a critical moment, but only after No. 87 nudged President Biden in another direction. Yes, that’s right. Let’s rewind the historic White House celebration moment one more time.

The Kansas City Chiefs made their first White House visit in their franchise’s history after winning Super Bowl LVII against the Philadelphia Eagles in February this year. After touring the White House, the team made its way to the South Lawn for the ceremonial proceedings. There, President Biden received his very own No 46 Chiefs jersey along with a signed football from 2x Super Bowl MVP Pat Mahomes. And that is when the craziness began.
As Mahomes and President Biden looked to be engrossed in a discussion about the Vince Lombardi Trophy placed on the side of the stage, Kelce snuck away for his moment under the spotlight. “I’ve been waiting for this,” he started before being stopped by his quarterback midway through this speech. “Sorry, sorry,” PM15 said to the crowd, who burst out laughing.
Pat McAfee and his crew noticed something rather interesting in the footage. Before walking up to the podium, Travis Kelce gave what looked like a slight nudge to President Biden to make the road to the microphone easier. “Travis Kelce continues to be one of the most epic humans to ever exist. And yesterday is the most recent example at the White House. Yeah, stay there, stay there,” McAfee added the commentary while Kelce tried sending the POTUS away from the podium stand.
“That is epic,” McAfee added. “Telling the President- yeah, yeah, yeah. What a moment, Travis. Loved it.” A. J. Hawk described the moment as pure “gold.”
This chemistry between Mahomes and Kelce provides further testimony to their promise for next season.

The Unstoppable Kelce Effect is shaping the Chiefs Dynasty
Moments after clinching their second Lombardi in four years, Patrick Mahomes announced to the Chiefs Kingdom that they can expect to see the red and white army in the title game next year. And with Kelce in his arsenal, there’s nothing standing in the way of dynastical success. So what makes Travis Kelce unstoppable? “He’s a wide receiver playing tight end. And he’s big as hell. You can’t guard him one-on-one. And he got a quarterback that can throw the ball like a missile,” former Bengals cornerback Adam Pacman Jones said on the Pat McAfee Show.
