Jorden Poyer hates paying taxes, well who doesn’t? Having had plenty of time this offseason, Poyer was looking forward to finding a tax-friendly destination for him. However, the Buffalo Bills had different plans. Despite getting a boatload of attention from the Miami Dolphins and Dallas Cowboys, Jorden Poyer is well on his way to returning to the Bills’ locker room.
Earlier, Poyer went on to make headlines, as he shared on his podcast that he was hoping to go someplace with a much more lenient tax system, probing many to assume Florida or Texas as his next stepping stone, maybe that is what drew in the Cowboys.

Earlier on his podcast, Jordan Poyer went on to say, “I kind of ponder the question every once in a while. Love to go to a state that doesn’t take half my money….. Love to go to a place where they don’t take half my money. It’s crazy to me to have taxes, no taxes play big part in all of our lives. Especially at the level you know we play at. You look at some of your cheques, and some places even take half of your money, if it isn’t Buffalo, It would be nice to see the sun, maybe, every week or so.”
Since making these comments, reports of the Buffalo Bills reacquiring Poyer has hit the deck.

However, with his choice, the safety has shown that even if he is worried about his money, his loyalty to the Bills remains unchanged. With Josh Allen on the roster, this is not a bad choice as the QB has a lot of potential to take his team for a Super Bowl run in the next season.
