The Kansas City Chiefs QB, Patrick Mahomes, and his wife have an adorable daughter. The little angel’s name is Sterling Skye Mahomes, and she is one year old. And since she is the daughter of the star NFL QB and a professional soccer player, it is only natural for the child to gravitate toward sports. Brittany Matthews, Sterling’s mommy, shared a picture on Instagram where she is seen preparing her daughter for sports early on.

Brittany Matthews is a professional soccer player. She played in college for the University of Texas, Tyler. Then went on to play in Iceland professionally.
Matthews is co-owner of the Kansas City National Women’s Soccer League. She has been a strong advocate for women in sports. Therefore, it does not come as a surprise that Mommy Mahomes would want her angelic daughter to follow in her footsteps.

With a perfect professional career through which he earned $503 million (the largest sum any professional American athlete signed), Patrick Mahomes is also blessed with a great family. The long-time couple tied the knot on March 12th, 2022. Baby Sterling was the cutest flower girl in the marriage ceremony.

Last month, via an Instagram post, they announced a new addition to their family. They are expecting their second child together and it is a baby boy.
If baby Sterling grows up to play soccer, she will grow up under the guidance of her mother. Also, she will join the league of outstanding athletes in her family, her father, Patrick Mahomes, and her grandfather, Pat Mahomes, the MLB legend. Being an all-American sports-loving family, she will absolutely receive support for whatever sport she may want to play.
