The retired NFL star recently sent shockwaves through the sports world with his bombshell revelations. The former Ravens tackle filed a legal suit against his adoptive family tearing down the fairy tale story of his liberation by the Tennesse family. The 37-year-old shocked everyone when he claimed that  Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy, never adopted him and instead placed him in a conservatorship, a fact which he was unaware of until earlier this year. According to his claims, the couple stripped him of the legal rights to take decisions in crucial matters concerning health and education, potentially incurring him a loss of millions.

The NFL star’s confession jolted everyone, especially given his story had inspired a 2009 Oscar-winning movie ‘The Blind Side’. The revelations unleashed nothing but a trail of discussions, with some supporting Oher while others raised eyebrows at the legitimacy of the allegations.

Now the Rightwing YouTuber who boasts over 2 million subscribers and Dailywire host Matt Walsh entered the fray by openly refuting the former tackles’ allegations, citing the whole story as fab. The whole thing reeks. Seems pretty evident that Oher squandered his NFL fortune and is now turning on the people who cared for him because he’s desperate for money and relevance. While the dramatic revelation, false or true was undeniably shocking, the story was about to get even more turbulent.

Adding another layer of twist, the Tuhuy family has announced their intention to seek an end to Michael Oher’s conservatorship. In the wake of the allegations, Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy released a statement at the time condoning the allegations and claiming their alleged attempts to siphon money from Oher by denying him legal rights to sign contracts, as “hurtful and absurd.”

According to outlets, on Wednesday, the Tuohys’ attorney, Randall Fishman, disclosed during a press conference that the couple is mulling entering into a consent order to end their conservatorship over Oher for good. The sudden move has left everyone surprised, the story wading into more turbulence.
