Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver and Super Bowl LVII Champion, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, recently hosted a charity softball game, showcasing his talents on the baseball field alongside his teammates, including quarterback Patrick Patrick Mahomes. Travis Kelce, however, was unable to attend the event due to other commitments and he had major FOMO.

Interestingly, the motivation behind Valdes-Scantling’s philanthropic endeavours can be traced back to his childhood experiences, particularly in St. Petersburg, Florida. Growing up in this community, he witnessed the poverty and hardships faced by many people. These observations fueled his desire to make a positive impact and led him to establish the Humble Beginnings Foundation. Through this foundation, Valdes-Scantling has been able to raise a significant amount of money to support economically disadvantaged areas.
