For the past few weeks, All-Pro defensive back Jalen Ramsey has been facing the wrath of the authorities by getting fined repeatedly. The reigning Super Bowl champion lands another on his way for a helmet-to-helmet hit against the Panthers QB PJ Walker. Meanwhile, the fans couldn’t get through this again, as there were no flags were thrown during the game.

Ever since the Tua Tagovailoa incident happened, the referees looked extra cautious and subsequently penalized the players with an unwarranted roughing the passer call. Falcons’ defensive lineman Grady Jarrett and Chiefs’ Chris Jones fell prey to such referee calls.

While the sacks were washed out as roughing the passer, the Rams’ fourth-year Cornerback got slapped with a fine for getting involved in a moment with the opposition QB.

According to the NFL insider, Tom Pelissero, the league fined Jalen Ramsey $15,914 for a helmet-to-helmet hit on the Panthers QB PJ Walker. However, no flags were thrown. Something the fans found sketchy.

This incident reflects the previous fine Ramsey incurred in Week 3 against the Cardinals for unsportsmanlike conduct. He had to pay $10,609 in fines without any flags thrown. While the one that caught the most attention was his uniform violations. The yellow socks he wore a few weeks ago were pointed out for breaking the uniform code.

“Player safety is one of the things that should be talked about more. Shit like getting fined for socks, let’s talk about it…” Ramsey said in an unpleasant mood to the reporters. “If we want to go out there and look good, and it ain’t hurting the integrity of the game, why are y’all fining me $10,000 for my socks?— You want to think about protecting guys, not… damn socks.” he ranted.

Within just six weeks of the season, the star cornerback got fined three times for one or the other reason. More than half of the season is left, and if this continues, Ramsey can expect more on the line. Fans were just not happy with what had happened.

Meanwhile, some of the fans were behind the past incidents.

However, few of them targeted the referees.

Apart from Ramsey, Micah Parsons and Trevor Diggs from the Cowboys got fined last week for unsportsmanlike conduct against the Eagles. It will be interesting to see what’s more in Week 7 as the game progresses in the 2022 season.
