Green Bay Packers veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers is out of his darkness retreat. And photos and videos of the isolated spot in Oregon have gone viral on the internet. The place looks more like a “nightmare” than a retreat of any kind, to be very honest. And, fans showed more anxiety looking at the retreat than they did in anticipation of A-Rod’s NFL career decision.

According to ESPN Senior Writer Xuan Thai, Rodgers has completed his four-day isolation project. With all the necessary self-reflection, the 4x NFL MVP can hopefully decide if he wanted to return to Missouri, go to the AFC, or retire altogether. However, that conversation can wait for now.

Sky Cave went the minimalistic way. A cabin in the snowy woods, a 300-square-foot room with just the basic amenities. The cabin is partially underground and houses only a queen-sized bed, a bathroom, and a meditation mat. However, the room is powered, and the light switch is inside the room, giving the occupant the option to stop the darkness routine at any point. However, fans had differing opinions about the place.

Some folks, like mothers, loved the serenity and secluded nature of the retreat. However, many didn’t think this was their cup of tea. To put it into perspective, Front Row Sports even took a public poll to see how many would attempt the Aaron Rodgers isolation retreat. A shocking 57% said they would be open to giving it a shot, while the rest passed on the option.

So where is Aaron Rodgers going?

The Packers superstar has spent his entire 18-year playing career in the NFL in Wisconsin. And over the years, A-Rod has built a special bond with the place. Besides being their leader on the gridiron, Aaron Rodgers is also a minority owner of the Milwaukee Bucks NBA franchise. However, Green Bay could be moving on from the King in the North.
