Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has a knack for entering the history books. Be it on the field as he storms past all major quarterbacking milestones or off, in the world of social media. The reigning NFL MVP recently made his way into an elite and exclusive club of celebrities, all common in one aspect. They were Elon Musk’s blue-ticked golden boys.

Celebrities worldwide lost their blue Twitter check mark on Thursday as Twitter CEO Elon Musk made the social media platform a level playing field for all. The biggest names on the platform lost their mark of authenticity and were left with the choice to get it back for eight dollars. However, Patrick Mahomes wasn’t going to pay. And Musk acquiesced, giving the check back to a chosen few; his favorites.

I’m certain you’ll build an even bigger and more explode-y one. Now, may I please have my blue check back? It would mean a lot to me,” Sheen tweeted. He followed it up with an Elon appreciation tweet once his blue tick resurfaced. “It’s like Xmas and my birthday all at once! Elon Musk, I’m flushed with gratitude.
