Dak Prescott had another playoff night that he would like to forget as soon as he can. The Dallas Cowboys crashed out of the NFL playoff after the 19-12 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in their divisional round matchup. And it was all too familiar for Cowboys Nation, as they finally seem to have lost all hope with their quarterback.
Even the most loyal Dak supporters gave up on him after last night’s pick-infested display. With Aaron Rodgers and Lamar Jackson still supposed to be free agents, fans don’t want no. 4 back in Arlington next season.

Prescott took the blame in the post-game press conference for his Cowboys failing to reach the NFC Championship game for the 27th straight time. “You can’t have them [2 picks] when you’re trying to beat a team like that. You can’t have it on the road. There’s no excuse for that. Those two are 100 percent on me,” Dak said in the presser.

Christian McCaffrey ran for the only score from play for the Niners. And despite a valiant show by the Dallas defense, who didn’t allow Mr. Relevant Brock Purdy any room in the pocket for a passing touchdown, Jerry Jones’ men were simply not good enough on the offense. RB Tony Pollard left because of an ankle injury late in the first half. And Dak just couldn’t man the ship without his rushing talent.
After a regular season where his 15 interceptions topped the league’s quarterbacks, Dak added 2 more on the night against the Niners. Jerry Jones still has faith in Dak. However, fans may have had enough.
It was all Déjà vu for Cowboys Country
Prescott’s lack of any substantial postseason success has led many to doubt his return ahead of the next season. Fans flooded Twitter with ‘trade Dak’ shouts.
I see Trade Dak is trending.. Maybe he needs to pick up Dak ham as a sponsor… #DakPrescott #DallasCowboys pic.twitter.com/7P8xBisMdz

No two ways around it, Dak Prescott is not an elite QB, never has been, and the Cowboys pissed aways a great title shot by idiotically replacing Tony Romo with that mediocrity as a rookie.
One of the all time worst moves. A top organization would 100% trade him immediately.

Dak Prescott is so bad. Cowboys HAVE to do something to get rid of him. Cut him, trade him, something.

I’m sorry. That’s it. I’ve had it with Dak.pic.twitter.com/1EHRUg8mXe

I keep trying to trust No. 4. And he keeps turning back into a painfully overpaid 4th-rounder.

Sunday night’s Dallas breakdown in the last minutes of the game brought back painful memories for Cowboys Country. Last year, the 2021 season ended for America’s team quite similarly. With time running out in the wild-card round game, Dak Prescott ran with the ball for a first down instead of attempting a Hail Mary pass down the field. And sure enough, the opponents were the same old San Francisco 49ers. And the result was very much the same.

With Aaron Rodgers’ future at Green Bay uncertain, fans wanted the Aaron and Dak swap in order to have a semblance of a chance at next year’s Lombardi. Fans will have to wait for the season to get over. The Niners advanced on the night to fix their NFC Championship date with Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles next Sunday.
