The Jacksonville Jaguars pulled off a massive upset in their first playoff game in the NFL Wild Card Round. The Jaguars made the biggest playoff comeback in their franchise history and eliminated the Los Angeles Chargers. Trevor Lawrence and his squad had an almost storybook recovery as they made up a 27-point deficit. Some would say that this would seem too perfect an end.
After the game, Trevor Lawrence attended his post-game interview on the field. The Jaguars quarterback was obviously ecstatic after his win as the AFC South franchise has avoided elimination and is now headed into the more competitive parts of the playoffs. However, he made some statements that would have fans doubt the authenticity of America’s most loved game.

The Jaguars QB played his first playoff game against the Chargers. However, he had a very mixed game with touchdown passes, but also interceptions. After the game, the QB’s adrenaline might have let slip some words that were unexpected. Lawrence spoke about how the game could not have had a ‘crazier script’.

After his mention of ‘script’ in his interview, NFL fans flooded Instagram with their comments. One user said, “so it’s scripted lol.” and just stated what they believed about the NFL. Furthermore, fans commented on the rigging nature of the NFL and how it is nothing new and said, “Nfl been rigged, players come out all the time saying it not even a chargers fan either.”
Fans did not hold back and said, “Breaking: Trevor Lawrence confirms the NFL is scripted.” However, there was one fan who believed that the elephant wasn’t rigged and said, “So let me get this straight….the chargers have been choking for damn near 2 decades and when they do it again tonight the NFL is scripted lol.” Admittedly, no one expected the Jaguars to make it this far.
The dark horse of the playoffs
It seems like no one expected the Jaguars to make it to the playoffs. However, Lawrence did not seem like he doubted his team for one second. It seems like the QB was only interested in focusing on where the team will be going from here on out.
