The reigning MVP, Aaron Rodgers, recently got injured during the match against the Eagles. The quarterback got a rib injury during the game and was taken off the field. Witnessing the dip in his performance this season, some analysts are of the opinion that Rodgers should retire now. In light of this, he talked about his plans post-retirement.

Rodgers recently appeared on the Pat McAfee show. During the show, the quarterback and McAfee talked about various things like Jordan Love and Rodgers’ competitiveness. McAfee also mentioned Rodgers’ possible plans after he retires.

Aaron Rodgers on potential golfing future

While Aaron Rodgers is at the height of his career, he is 38 years of age. There have been whispers of retirement for the Green Bay Packers quarterback. However, Rodgers is infamously competitive. It’s almost natural for him to pick a path after retirement that provides him with the same competition.

While on the Pat McAfee show, Rodgers spoke about his possible options for the future. McAfee questioned the quarterback on how he is going to fulfill his need to compete after football. As Rodgers is known to be an avid golfer, McAfee speculated on a possible career in golf. The quarterback said, “not gonna happen, bro, you these golfers on a whole different level they’re so f*****g good at every single tour.” The quarterback was humble about his capabilities in the sport of golf and gave the professionals the due credit. Rodgers also talked about different hobbies he wants to pursue after retirement.

Rodgers on after-retirement plans

On the Pat McAfee show, Rodgers also spoke about his plans after retiring. He mentioned that he has a couple of different hobbies that he has not been able to get into due to football.

He also spoke about the competitive edge that he wants to keep. He spoke about pursuing pick-up basketball which he enjoys playing. In reference to that and said, “As far as competitive stuff I don’t know going down the park and playing a little pickup basketball and okay dunking on some people that sounds pretty good.” Rodgers has been one of the most impactful quarterbacks to play the game. With his known competitive edge, it is hard not to wonder what he’ll be pursuing after football. However, the first question that comes to mind is, when will Aaron Rodgers retire?
