Recently, a former team-mate and a close friend of the Jets QB has humorously pointed out in one flaw in the NFL legend’s game. As Rodgers’s close aide, they were team-mates for nearly a decade and hence have developed a terrific bonding. Speaking on the ESPN NFL insider, David Bakhtiari, the Green Bay Packers offensive tackle, called out his friend and gave a bit of solid advice. Ahead of the NFL season with teams looking to apply final touches to their practice regimes, Jets would be looking to pull up their socks!

David Bhaktiari, the Green Bay Packers OT, and Aaron Rodgers go a long way! The colleagues turned friends got closer while playing for Packers over a period of nine years. Now as Rodgers seeks pastures as the new season approaches. Speaking on Jordan Love’s movement across the field to Jeremy Flower after the departure of Rodgers. Bakhtiari cheekily remarked for the former QB “Because Aaron is slow as s**t.” and further concluded, “Now we actually have an athletic quarterback who can move around.”
The fun banter aimed at Rodgers was all in good spirits. The duo have forged a decade-old friendship at Packers. Bakhtiari playing in the OT position protected the then-QB Rodgers. Taking care of all the blitzers and edge rushers, Bakhtiari is quite close with Rodgers.

The 3X Pro Bowl winner is nursing a knee injury currently. During the last two seasons, the OT has only given sporadic appearances due to recurring issues. But he is still an experienced and crucial member of the Packers. With 31.50 sacks to his name, the Packers bank on their old stalwarts to carry across their boat. The 2X First-Team All-Pro is an integral part of the Packers camp and brings balance to the side.
As per reports, Bakhtiari will probably feature in the Week 3 game against Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The strong-built OT suffered an ACL tear during the 2020 final training sessions. Since then, Bkhtiari has looked like a shade of his former self.

Fans would be hoping that a fully-fit Bakhtiari takes the field for the Packers. Ahead of the fresh NFL season, spectators will also be praying that the NFL future HOF Aaron Rodgers shows quick movement on the field and completes several touchdowns.
