Davante Adams had a flourishing career in the NFL, playing with Aaron Rodgers for the past eight seasons. But his new journey seems to have jittered at the beginning itself, with four losses this year. Moreover, his recent turmoil with a cameraman in Week 5 has brought him more under the radar of critics. NFL analyst Skip Bayless analyzed the situation recently and explained the transition in his life.

There is no doubt, Adams’ fame has garnered him a prime position in the Raiders’ fanbase. He has now become the face of the franchise despite his former college mate Derek Carr playing for the side as a quarterback.

The elite receiver, however, failed to bring success and a poor team performance dropped the side to last in the NFC East. Other rival teams are already 4-1 or better compared to the Raiders, and the media is asking a lot of questions. Bayless believes the situation was far different for Adams during his tenure at Green Bay.

Because Aaron Rodgers was always the one to be blamed, and the receiver was thriving in his shadow. Bayless also emphasized Adams’ shoving incident from Week 5 in the latest episode of UNDISPUTED.

He said, “He’s a decent guy. And yet this decent guy plays a little under the radar in Aaron Rodger’s shadow in Green Bay. And the onus wasn’t on him, it was always on Aaron.” Bayless said on the show with Shannon Sharpe on the other side of the table. “Whatever blame there was to be built out after a big loss, especially a playoff loss. Nobody said it was Davante ‘s fault, it’s going to be Aaron’s.”

It was an unfortunate condition for a young freelancer, who was working with ESPN for Monday Night Football, getting the dose of Adams’ frustration. While the receiver was walking back into the locker room, this guy bumped into his path. And without a second thought, Adams shoved him with both hands instantly crashing him onto the turf.

Although he publicly apologized, later on, the media person filed a complaint against the NFL receiver. Per all the charges filed against him, he may get a maximum sentence of 180 days in jail or a fine of as much as $1000. However, the issue is speculated to get resolved as soon as possible, with both parties agreeing to a settlement.
