Former San Francisco starlet, Colin Kaepernick is back in the news. The Milwaukee-born QB has experienced quite the rollercoaster over the last decade in his career and personal life. After spending six years with the San Francisco 49ers, he was sacked following a dispute on principle. Kaepernick took a knee while the American anthem was on, to take a stand against the Police Brutality many have faced. But since then, he has come forward to make a career beyond football.

He has established the Kaepernick Publishing institution since leaving the NFL and the 49ers. The latest update spawns from his institution, which will excite many fans.

Kaepernick has been an inspiration to many on the American continent. He has been outspoken about the unfair treatment that many Americans experience regularly. But he has marched forward respectively to provide a path to many young minds. Despite cutting his NFL career short, he has maintained his stature and continued down the path of inspiration.

The former QB’s latest announcement confirms a mega project that is set to launch in the next 8 months. The Kaepernick Publishing institution posted about the picture book that will be available in April 2024. The institution has partnered with Kai Naima Williams to produce a picture book – “THE BRIDGES YURI BUILT: HOW YURI KOCHIYAMA MARCHED ACROSS MOVEMENTS”. Colin would further raise the hype by commenting, “Let’s go @kainaima I can’t wait for the world to see what you’ve created!”

The QB has found success by publishing books by up-and-coming writers, like Kai Naima Williams and others. His Institution harbors 6 books to its collection of publishment in less than 4 years of operations. One of the books is about the man himself, depicting the journey that brought him to his current position.

What started six years ago, is now one of the most successful avenues of his life. Colin Kaepernick would set out to find a publisher for his book which would eventually earn plaudits from many in the community. He would sign with the media house that had previously published works of the stars like Jay-Z and Ta-Nehisi Coates.

Eventually, it was found out that the media company he had signed with, Random House Imprint One World, was the one he had launched earlier in his career. Upon the successful launch of the book, ‘Change the Game’, it can since be accessed on his institution’s website as well.
