The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have struggled since early in the season. The franchise is still in the playoff race and every game is important for them till the end of the regular season. And one of those games is a Christmas day showdown with the Arizona Cardinals. So that means Tom Brady will spend his first Christmas after his divorce with Gisele Bündchen without his kids.

The Buccaneers need to win all their remaining three games to have a winning regular season. And Brady is focused on that.

Tom Brady revealed his Christmas plans on the latest episode of his ‘Let’s Go’ podcast. Speaking on a question about what he has learned from this football season, he said that he will learn how to spend Christmas day in a hotel. “I’m gonna learn how to deal with Christmas Eve in a hotel, and I’m gonna have to learn how to deal with Christmas and Christmas night and still go out there and be a professional,” Brady said.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion also revealed that he will celebrate Christmas with his kids the next day.“And then look forward to celebrating Christmas with my kids the day after. Which is, you know, just part of what football season has been for a long time. So, it’s just, again, emotional aspects that allow us to thrive,” the QB continued.

The Buccaneers will take on the Cardinals on Christmas Day in a huge game for the franchise. The playoff heat weighs a little heavier for Brady and Co. at the moment after a lackluster season and eighth shock defeat.

Tom Brady and the Buccaneers’ season hasn’t gone as they would have planned at the start of it almost four months ago. They have struggled to get to the end zone offensively while the defense has struggled to force turnovers. The result is that this season is officially the worst one in Brady’s long and illustrious career. He has never lost eight games in the regular season before. The QB’s previous worst record was a 9-7 regular season with the New England Patriots back in 2002.

Brady himself has not fired on all cylinders this season. But even then, he is third in the league for passing yardage. Even in the franchise’s eighth defeat of the season, to the Cincinnati Bengals, the legendary QB threw for 312 yards and three touchdowns.
