Ever since their separation, it seems like Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen are in a race to prove who is handling the divorce better. No, we are not talking about their relationships and dating rumors. This is about their professional achievements. Tom Brady retired from playing in the NFL only to become an NFL team owner. Meanwhile, Bündchen keeps excelling at what she does. And recently, Gisele outdid herself as she went all out for a very special cause leading back to her native land.
Gisele Bündchen has been selflessly working towards ecological preservation and development in her homeland of Brazil. And this week, the Brazilian bombshell worked her charm on a Saturday night in Miami. Bündchen raised nearly $1 million in a single night of fundraising. However, she didn’t do it all alone and had some special help by her side.
Gisele Bündchen achieves milestone success in environmental preservation efforts
On Saturday, the 42-year-old former Victoria’s Secret supermodel stepped on as the host of the Luz Alliance Gala to benefit the Brazil Foundation. The million dollars raised during the night will go towards the reforestation efforts in her home country. Over the past 13 years, while being married to Tom Brady, Bündchen’s plus one for these galas had always been the former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB1. However, with the divorce, Bündchen looked for support elsewhere. And she found it in someone she trusts.
Gisele had her twin sister, Patricia, by her side. Pati and Bündchen are super close and the former even serves as Bündchen’s manager and business agent in Brazil. “This was my first Gala and couldn’t have done it without my sister Pati, who worked diligently with the Brazil Foundation to organize this special evening. It was very special to have her here tonight. She worked so hard to organize this event as she does every day,” Gisele told PEOPLE.

Besides Patricia, Bündchen also had fellow supermodel and friend Karlie Kloss come to her aid.
“Thank you for coming. You are the best,” Gisele captioned an IG story with Kloss.
Tom Brady finalized his ownership role in the meantime
While Bündchen raised money for a noble cause, donning an off-shoulder long white dress from Stella McCartney, TB12 achieved his longtime dream of becoming an NFL team owner. After being in talks with the Las Vegas Raiders and their owner, Mark Davis, for weeks, it finally happened.
“We have come to an agreement for Tom Brady to become a partner in the Raiders, and we have submitted it to the NFL for approval,” Davis said, as per ESPN’s Paul Gutierrez. Davis also owns the Las Vegas Aces WNBA team where Brady also became a minority owner last month. So this partnership makes sense in every way imaginable.
Brady hasn’t publicly addressed the minority ownership announcement yet. However, with a reunion between TB12 and his former New England backup and current Raiders QB1 Jimmy Garoppolo happening, fans cannot wait for the 2023 season to kick off.
