Shannon Sharpe drops morning slot cryptic tweet
3x Super Bowl champion Shannon Sharpe officially reached a buyout agreement with Fox Sports, the parent organization of Fox Sports 1 and the home of the infamous ‘Undisputed’. The former Denver Broncos and Baltimore tight end hosted the last episode with longtime co-host Skip Bayless after the NBA Finals this month.
However, fans don’t have to wait too long to spot Shannon Sharpe on their TV screens again.
“I’m enjoying my early morning workouts, late breakfast, and break from wearing a suit every morning. But just for a little while. I’ll be back on in the mornings soon,” Sharpe tweeted recently while sharing pictures of him on the streets of Los Angeles.

Shannon and Skip’s breakup arguably stemmed from the many heated arguments between the two over a variety of topics. This included the Tom Brady and LeBron James disagreements and a controversial Damar Hamlin tweet from Bayless that Sharpe wanted his co-host to delete.
“I cannot even get through a monologue without you interrupting me,” Sharpe told Skip Bayless during their period of friction. However, Shannon Sharpe was in tears while saying goodbye to Bayless during their last broadcast, ending the seven-year run of ‘Undisputed’.

So where is Sharpe headed next?
There are rumors floating that the tight end legend might be taking his talents and his YouTube podcast, ‘Club Shay Shay’, which was also part of the Fox Sports network to ESPN. Stephen A. Smith is the most likely co-host for Shannon Sharpe in the next phase of his broadcasting career. Skip Bayless’ former ‘First Take’ co-host Stephen A openly welcomed Shannon Sharpe to join his ESPN crew recently.

“I don’t know what he’s after, but if Shannon Sharpe needs me, then I’m happy to be there for him. And if that includes wanting to come on ‘First Take’, the bosses at ESPN know that is something that I would support,” Smith said last week.
