Patrick and Brittany Mahomes are now parents of two children. The Kansas City Chiefs star recently welcomed his son ‘Bronze’ with his wife, Brittany. Despite being the NFL’s youngest quarterback to be named MVP, his title of ‘dad’ is perhaps his proudest accomplishment. From the way the quarterback talks about his children, there’s no doubt he’s a doting father.

Mahomes’ oldest daughter Sterling Skye was born in 2021. Over time, she has built a bond with the NFL world. Mahomes’ wife, Brittany, often takes to social media to showcase Sterling’s support of her father. The duo is often seen wearing matching outfits as they cheer on the Kansas City Chiefs. Brittany and Sterling have caught the eye of the NFL world on numerous occasions, especially when they wear coordinated outfits for game days. So, what is little Sterling Mahomes up to now?

Brittany Mahomes has a smaller version of herself coming for her husband’s job

The little one, who recently took on the role of ‘big sister’, was featured on her mother’s Instagram. Ahead of the Chiefs‘ bout against the Denver Broncos, Brittany took to Instagram and used the ‘Stories’ feature to post some adorable snaps of her children. The first picture featured a cropped image of her son Bronze in a pajama set that said, ‘On Sunday I watch Daddy’. Brittany also put up a ‘Boomerang’ of Sterling captioned, “Showing me how her dada throws”. The video features Sterling mimicking her father’s throwing action. Brittany tagged Patrick Mahomes, and the latter reposted it on his Instagram story as well.

It wouldn’t be surprising if Sterling turns out to be more athletically inclined than other children. With two athletically inclined parents, we may be looking at a future superstar. While Patrick Mahomes is quite a recognizable face, most people wouldn’t know this gem of a fact. Brittany Mahomes also played soccer professionally during college and overseas. With two gifted individuals as parents, there’s no doubt Sterling is going to be well-coached.

Mahomes has his own way of doing things on and off the field

Despite being athletically gifted, Patrick Mahomes does not want to force his children to pursue similar interests. According to People magazine, Mahomes stated that he plans to stay out of the way in relation to his children’s potential sporting interests. But he also said that while he would teach them the fundamentals of whatever they want to learn, he wanted them to have fun and “let it be about them.” The quarterback stated that his parents also did the same, and withheld from pressuring him into excellence.

Patrick Mahomes is a superstar on and off the field. The former MVP is currently in pursuit of his second Super Bowl title. But Mahomes is not the only QB chasing after victory. The Chiefs star who is also the front-runner for this year’s MVP title has stiff competition from Josh Allen, Tua Tagovailoa, and Joe Burrow, among others this season. Bengals QB Burrow has already beaten Mahomes in the three faceoffs they’ve had. The Chiefs QB will hope to iron out his performance as he chases another title with his family cheering him on.
